Who we are
It all began with the creation of the Cilave Laundry in 1978, specialized in processing jeans by performing unique cleaning and finishing work. Based on the expertise acquired by Cilave, which serves the market all over Brazil, Munditextil began its operations in October 2003. It originally offered outsourced jeans manufacturing services for brand name products. Cilave Beneficiamento and Santista Textil, its solid partnership agreements permitted enhancement of its activities and processes and led to the birth of a new textile manufacturer in Rio de Janeiro.
Beginning in 2005, heavy investment in research on the international fashion scene brought the latest trends from the four corners of the globe. New York, Paris and Tokyo are some of the places which have been visited by Munditextil’s research team. Since that time, Munditextil has supplied product for major brands such as Espaço Fashion and Animale.
Munditextil has capacity to produce 400,000 pieces a year, with strict quality control and is ready to exceed its goals in 2016.
